För att högtidlighålla vårt första europaspel på 36 år, och samtidigt förhoppningsvis kunna göra en insats för fotbollen i stort, har Gårdakvarnen lagt fram ett bud för att försöka köpa loss den privatägda klubben FC Nordsjälland. Detta med avsikt att avveckla klubben i sin helhet, då den inte fyller någon värdefull funktion före varken fotbollen eller samhället. Vi inväntar svar från ägarna i Pathways Group på vårt bud. Budet är sådant att det inte riskerar föreningens ekonomi, då likviditeten i föreningen alltjämt är god. Följande mail skickats in till Nordsjälland under kvällen:
Dear FC Nordsjælland
Congratulations on your advancement in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers. We would like to adress a banner seen in your stand during yesterday’s match, claiming that GAIS could be bought. We’re sorry to inform you that GAIS can in fact not be bought, as it is owned by its members, as is regulated in the statutes of The Swedish Sports Confederation. However, we are aware that the same can not be said in Denmark. Since your appalling excuse for a football club can in fact be bought and sold just like any other commodity, we would like to extend an offer to the owners of FC Nordsjælland.
We have based our valuation of the club on the value it brings to the world of football. Therefore we would like to purchase it from the current owners for the generous price of 1€. This is with the explicit plan of liquidating the club, discontinuing all operations, and relieve all the mercenaries that work for the club of their duties. We hope that you can also see that this would be in the best interest of our beloved sport.
